the Remaster Project

The Remaster Project is a creative playground I created to speak about modern day society and global issues. By reinterpreting meaningful works of art and injecting my own concepts, the goal is to use the familiar to convey a new idea, a double-take for the viewer. Creating anew while, hopefully, preserving the essence of the original works of Art is a challenging balancing-act of reinvention and conservation.

Months of work go into each reinterpretation. There are a lot of pieces to string together: Art direction, pre production, set and prop design, wardrobe, casting, special FX etc. Tackling all of these creative facets involved in a big production helps me tremendously in both my personal and commercial assignments. All visuals are hand-crafted and captured with a camera. Nonetheless post-production plays a big part to create the final remaster.

The scenes might be familiar but the questions are from a modern era: are human’s survival instincts dependent on a wifi signal? Will there come a time in History when the people, around the world, unite? Do we need to "Save The Planet" or are we, humans, the ones in need of salvation?
